Angela Griffin returns with the second series of the hit action-packed documentary series Emergency with Angela Griffin.

Embedded with the Scottish, Welsh and South Western Ambulance services, Angela and co will give a powerful insight into medical care on the frontline, meeting the heroes and heroines of Britain’s emergency services: not just paramedics, but also emergency care practitioners, call handlers and community responders amongst many others.

Over 12 episodes, Angela will spend time with the teams on the ambulances, rapid response vehicles and city centre triage trucks.

In Glasgow, Angela witnesses paramedics dealing with the shocking effects of violence, alcoholism and drugs in some of the city’s most notorious estates.

In the heart of Cardiff’s nightclub district, Angela sees first-hand the strain Britain’s booze culture is placing on A&E departments every Friday and Saturday night.

This series also sees Angela hitting the skies for the first time with the air ambulance crews from Wales and Devon.
