But reinventing your entire life in the countryside doesn’t come without a few challenges. Whether it’s renovating for the first time and learning new skills, or pressure to make their new life pay its way, the cast of this exciting new series have a lot to overcome and EVERYTHING on the line.  

Across this 20 part series, we feature11 families and couples, mainly focusing on their crucial early months of living in the countryside, following some of the key moments in their property renovations or starting new businesses.  In each episode, we intercut the experiences of two or three households, as they tackle various elements of their new lives in the country, with Sarah on hand to offer her in sight and encouragement.

From tackling a semi-derelict farmhouse room-by-room to creating a caravan site, developing a craft centre alongside a café, to renovating a house for holiday lets, there are lots of motivations and dreams to be found in a move to the country, that all make for captivating TV.
