Jo Frost is back and this time Channel 4’s parenting champion is offering more. More help to more parents tackling more parenting issues.
In series two of Jo Frost: Extreme Parental Guidance, Jo wants to share her no-nonsense advice with more parents than ever before through her first ever roadshow. She’s ready to tackle all the most persistent parenting problems; she’s dealing with sore losers, fears and phobias, how to handle attention-seeking behaviour.
And Jo takes a look at what she believes the single most important cause of parenting problems – families not spending enough time together. The fact that today the average child spends just 49 minutes a day doing things with their parents’ demands action. Jo wants to show all families how to get more together time.
In each programme Jo also meets families suffering from severe versions of the kinds of problems everyone worries about, from a violent six-year-old who has his mum bruised, battered and defeated by the battle he wages at bedtime to a superhero fan whose obsession is causing him to fall behind at school, from the boy who eats almost nothing but custard creams to a desperate mum considering an Indian boarding school for her unruly sons.
